This is the message I most want to receive.

Every page carries the date its figures were checked, because train times change, tours are withdrawn and prices move. I check them by hand and I still get things wrong. If a first train leaves earlier than a page says, if a bus route has been cut, if a monument now closes on Mondays — write to me. Say which page and what you found, and I’ll verify it and update the page, or explain why I’ve left it as it is.

Corrections that change the advice get fixed the same week. It’s the difference between a site that was accurate once and one that stays accurate.

Planning a trip and stuck on something

Ask. I answer questions about the destinations covered here — which trip fits the days you have, whether a connection works, whether something is worth the journey in the month you’re coming.

Two things worth knowing before you write. I’m not a travel agency: I won’t book anything for you, and I don’t hold reservations. And I only know the region around Madrid properly, so I’ll say “I don’t know” rather than guess about anywhere else — which is the answer you’d want anyway.

Often the fastest route is the site itself. The tour comparison filters fifteen products by price and rating, and the trip length planner lays out where each day trip fits in a two-to-seven day stay.
